In spite of dozens of drugs, surgical procedures, and special diets, heart disease remains the greatest cause of death in all industrialized nations. Most heart disease begins with the blockage of arterial blood flow, which eventually leads to the heart attack. Atherosclerosis is the term used for the blockage of the arteries. There are several natural heart disease programs, many of which include some form of Chelation. The term Chelation actually means to bind. When Chelation is used, specific agents bind with minerals such as calcium, removing them from the arteries. Once calcium deposits are removed, substances such as natural cholesterol cannot stick and blood flow is restored. Clinical studies have revealed a great many vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other natural agents that can support the heart and cardiovascular system. By combining these many agents together, we can come up with targeted supplements that contain many of these natural oral chelating agents to control atherosclerosis. Supplements for Heart Disease are many and varied, but you should always strive to use the formulas that offer as many different approaches to supporting the heart and cardiovascular system.
