Your body might get "addicted" to the stuff if you use it all the time..

No, because your muscles will adapted to being stimulated and will fail to work on their own.

I have tried two different types – one was a 30 day on/ 5 day off – up to two cycles in a row.
The ongoing plan takes probiotics to replace the GI flora with the
'good stuff' which is better for you. And is a great aid to digestion.
A second type is mild herbs that help the body eliminate to the process
takes less than 8 hours, as compared to 48. That's WAY too long
for food to be "in there" if you know what I mean.
all the best

Try to keep them home made and I think it should be fine.
There are various methods of naturally cleansing your colon, but the most elementary and natural way is by changing your diet to include not just healthy food, but healthy food habits as well. While there are a number of methods of cleaning the colon through supplements and other alternative means, you can do it simply by changing your diet to include the best kinds of food for your body. Our body has been made to eat and digest a diet that is high in fiber and low in fat, with a good amount of complex carbohydrates thrown in for energy. However, our diets today are generally composed of foods that are high in fat and sugar content, full of additives and almost nil in fibers. Therefore, in order to clean your internal organs and your colon, you should start taking a diet that is full of fiber and complex carbs while being low in fat, sugar and additive content.
