DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD NATURAL COLON CLEANSE?
Written by admin on October 27, 2008 – 7:10 am -I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING I CAN FIND IN MY KITCHEN IF POSSIBLE SO IF ANYBODY KNOWS PLEASE TELL ![]()
Colon cleansing is an effective way of eliminating toxic fecal material and parasites. As far as things that you may have in your kitchen that you can add to your diet for a colon cleanse, try mixing flax seeds in water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, include foods with fiber and drink plenty of water. Avoid fast foods as well as junk food.
Even though you may have the items for a colon cleanse, it would probably be more helpful if you had a strict diet to follow or research a natural powder cleansing kits such as the one discussed here: http://womans-health.net/best-colon-cleanse.htm The most important thing to remember regardless of what you try to cleanse your colon, drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. Hope this helps!

Does the epson salt/see salt colon cleansing work?
Written by admin on October 27, 2008 – 7:10 am -I have realized that my belly is getting bigger than usual so was thinking about trying this type of colon cleansing. Does it work and are there any disadvantages to it?
try drinking 64oz of water a day before you resort to epsom salt. That stuff is NASTY. If you drink more water, your body will flush out as much as it can, watch what you’re eating, and try to cut back here and there.
Colon cleanses are not the kind of thing you do at home. Consult a doctor if you have your heart set on that method.

Whats your take on the various colon cleansing drinks that are out there on the shelves?
Written by admin on October 25, 2008 – 7:37 am -Do they really work? And which products do you recommend?
I haven't tried any drinks but I use the Super Colon Cleanse by healthPlus. You take three tablets with each meal and a full glass of water. I found it to work within one day for a good cleanse. Good Luck!

Graves Disease/Hyperthyroidism/Celiac Disease?
Written by admin on October 25, 2008 – 7:36 am -Help my nephew (13) was diagnosed with these 3 diseases. My sister-in-law hates modern medicine and refuses to seek treatment. She took him to a Naturopathic MD that recommend she take him to a specialist (MD). She chose to do a liver/kidney cleanse, adjust his foods and see what happens a month from now by taking another blood test. She took him to some homeopathic lady that did a test by pressing herbs against his chest and pressing on his arm to see if he reacted to the pills. She pumps him full of like7-10 pills/herbs 3-4x daily on a daily basis vs feeding him healthy foods. She does routine colon cleanses and colloidal silver as a cure all. HELP I feel like my SIL is going to kill her son! I don’t know enough about the diseases or treatments to know if I am just overreacting.
I should add she uses Natures Sunshine goes to all these conferences to "learn" homeopathic ways. So she is not completely "blind" about what she is using/dispensing. But can herbs/diet treat/cure these disesases. I have researched some information but there is alot out there.
Apparently the blood test also showed he has allergies/sensitivities to citrus and garlic as well. Liver enzymes were over 400?
Thank you all for your opinions and assistance. And thank you to those who shared personal experience, it helped. Sadly I do not have any say in this matter. But I can research, work on trying to get my SIL and BIL to at least talk to an endocrinologist. And my MIL is willing to take legal action if they refuse to get him proper medical attention. Thank you again to all
I’m not a medical doctor, but from what little I do know about hyperthyroidism I wouldn’t say you’re over-reacting at all. Untreated graves disease can rarely follow a relatively benign course, but if it gets out of control the potential effects are heart disease, muscle wasting, osteoporosis, blindness and a whole host of other things – including death. I’m particularly worried about the effects of him being so young – it is a rare disease in children (so you have to consider misdiagnosis) but thyroid hormone is very important in growth and Development. I direct you to this article
http://www.emedicine.com/PED/topic899.htm
particularly where it says:
Graves disease is potentially life threatening. The most severe manifestation of Graves disease is thyroid storm, which carries a mortality risk approaching 100% in untreated adults. Recent series with newer treatments, including the use of beta-adrenergic blocking agents, show a reduced risk of death near 20%. This is such a rare disorder in children that no comparable figures are available. Even children and adolescents with less severe manifestations of Graves disease can display long-term consequences of this disorder, including problems with schooling and chronic loss of bone mineral.
I don’t want to alarm you! That ‘thyroid storm’ thing only occurs in about 1-2% of people with long standing hyperthyroidism. (http://www.emedicine.com/EMERG/topic269.htm) My mother had graves disease for a long, long time before she sought help and she turned out just fine. But i think a doctor *absolutely* needs to be involved – they are all potentially serious illnesses. Is it possible that your brother could be persuaded to take him to a specialist? I don’t know how easy it is for you to get involved.
